Give & Go Prepared Foods Corp. in Vaughan, ON is seeking a Production Planner to generate a production plan, manage inventory, and ensure on-time materials ordering.

The role requires close collaboration with the Production team to optimize schedules and maintain records. You will coordinate with Production Managers, review orders, and maintain planning documentation while using a Microsoft ERP system to track progress and performance.

Job Overview

Responsible for the generation of a production plan to maintain the necessary inventory needs, formulating and adjusting where necessary in conjunction with the Production Department. The role will also be responsible to ensure that materials are ordered and delivered on time and that all manual and computerized records are kept up to date

Location: Vaughan, ON.
Shift: Day (7:00AM - 3:00PM)

Key Responsibilities:

• Review client orders and prepare production Plan (schedule) to ensure all orders are filled to meet the clients’ requirements
  
  
  
  • Review both raw material (bulk & packaging) requirements, determine requirements, schedule production as per supply and communicate requirements to appropriate personnel
  
  
  
  


• Collaborate with Production Managers / Supervisors to ensure the Production Schedule enables the most effective use of company resources (man, material, equipment, etc.)


• Report scheduling, managing orders for deployment and manipulate spreadsheets
  
  
  
  • Need to be aware of orders on hold and when they are released and manage order dates
  
  
  
  


• Prepare daily, weekly, monthly efficiency, yield, and productivity reports
  
  
  
  • Data Entry into system for delivery of product
  
  
  • Run the Planning Worksheet on a Microsoft ERP to run the planning process
