Job description

Role: Production Operators – three-month contract position with potential for extension. You will perform finishing and final packaging tasks as part of the manufacturing process. The role reports to the Associate Director and Manager of Manufacturing. The regular work schedule is Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (40 hours per week).

Overview

Performs manufacturing and assembly of clinical and commercial products.

Responsibilities
  • Performs various aspects of product manufacturing and assembly, including, but not limited to, assembly, pouching, printing, and packaging.
  • Sets up and runs printing processes.
  • Follows and adheres to Standard Operating Procedures / Good Manufacturing Practices and verbal instructions.
  • Assists in the setup, operation, and maintenance of production equipment.
  • Maintains records to comply with regulatory requirements.
  • Examines components in the assembly process and flags potential defects or quality issues.
  • Helps keep the facility clean and organized.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
  • High School diploma / equivalent or 2-3 years related experience in a production / packaging setting.
  • Experience in assembly, packaging, and labeling of products.
  • Experience operating and troubleshooting manufacturing equipment and performing routine inspection or test procedures as required.
  • Basic knowledge of computers (MS Office).
  • Working knowledge of manufacturing and inspection equipment.
  • Experience following Standard Operating Procedures or similar protocols.
  • Strong detail orientation.
  • Strong communication skills (both verbal and written).
