Job summary

Excelitas Technologies Corp. is seeking a Production Manager in Vaudreuil-Dorion, QC, to oversee daily manufacturing operations with a focus on safety, quality and on-time delivery.

The role requires leadership across shifts, KPI dashboards, and a strong Lean/5S continuous improvement mindset. Qualifying candidates hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field with 5+ years of production supervision experience, and are fluent in French and English to collaborate with Excelitas sites

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management or related field, or equivalent, with at least five years of manufacturing production experience, including team supervision.
• Lean, 5S and problem-solving skills are essential.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP) is required.
• Bilingual French / English (oral and written) to communicate with other Excelitas sites.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-level daily oversight of production operations, partnering with supervisors, ensuring a safe and engaging work environment.
• Own the daily operational cadence: production dashboards and KPIs across all shifts.
• Embed continuous improvement daily (Lean, 5S, problem solving) and deliver results.
• Meet or exceed safety, quality, on-time delivery and productivity targets.
• Lead with Planning to execute the production schedule and address capacity gaps.

Mission:Deliver production execution to the best industry practices — safety, quality, on-time delivery and productivity — with continuous improvement at the center of operations, and provide high-level daily operational oversight across production.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high-level daily oversight of production operations, functionally partnering with the supervisors, and ensure a safe and engaging work environment.
• Be accountable for the daily operational cadence: production dashboards and KPIs across all shifts.
• Embed continuous improvement day to day (Lean, 5S, problem solving) and deliver its results.
• Meet or exceed safety, quality, on-time delivery and productivity targets.
• Act as a lead partner with Planning in executing the production schedule: elevate capacity gaps and ensure corrective action plans are implemented and tracked.

Qualifications

Education and experience: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management or a related field, or equivalent, with at least five (5) years of manufacturing production experience, including team supervision. Semiconductor experience and continuous-improvement training are strong assets.

• Command of continuous-improvement methods (Lean, 5S, problem solving).
• Comfort with production KPIs and ERP systems (SAP).
• Bilingual French / English (oral and written) in order to be able to communicatewith other Excelitas sites outside Quebec.
