Job Title: Production Line Worker ( Food Production )
Hours: 7:00 am – 5:30 pm or 5:00 pm – 3:00 am, Monday – Thursday
Rate of Pay: $16.50 – $17.00/Hour
Location: Saint John, NB

Advantage Personnel is seeking diligent and detail‑oriented Production Line Workers to join our client’s team in their food production plant located in Saint John, New Brunswick. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring that all products meet the highest standards of quality and care!

You will be responsible for various tasks along the production line, from assembling and packaging to quality control and adhering to all safety protocols. This position requires a keen eye for detail and a strong commitment to following safety and hygiene regulations.

Responsibilities
  • Operate machinery and equipment along the production line to process food items efficiently and effectively.
  • Monitor production processes to ensure smooth operations, making adjustments as necessary to meet production targets.
  • Follow all safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
  • Properly handle food items in accordance with hygiene standards, using appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Work effectively as part of a team to meet production goals and deadlines.
  • Communicate openly with team members and supervisors regarding any issues that arise on the production line.
Requirements
  • CSA Approved Steel Toe Boots.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Experience in a food production environment is an asset, though not required; we welcome candidates eager to learn.
  • Strong observational skills to identify quality issues and ensure product standards are met.
  • Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks; the role may involve lifting moderate weights.
  • Using personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves and masks when necessary.
  • Maintaining personal hygiene standards as required in food handling environments.
