Ice River Sustainable Solutions is seeking a Forklift Operator in Ontario to safely operate forklifts and support material handling tasks across the facility. You will load, unload, and transport goods while adhering to safety standards and maintaining product integrity.

The role features a 12-hour continental rotating shift schedule (days and nights), a starting pay of CAD 23.21 per hour with a wage increase after 3 months, and company-paid health, dental, and life insurance.

Qualifications

• Experience operating forklifts or heavy equipment is an asset.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in handling materials.
• Strong teamwork and ability to complete tasks efficiently.

Responsabilités

• Load, unload, and transport goods within the facility and position materials on pallets.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment, according to established safety and operational guidelines.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries. This includes understanding and following safety regulations, such as OSHA guidelines.
• Load, unload, and transport finished goods and materials within facility. This may involve lifting, stacking, and positioning materials in storage racks or on pallets.
• Perform routine inspections on forklifts and other equipment. Report any malfunctions, defects, or maintenance needs to maintenance personnel or supervisors.
• Handle materials and products with care to prevent damage.
• Ensure that goods are properly handled, stacked, and stored to maintain their quality.
• Work as part of a team, collaborating with colleagues, supervisors, and other staff to achieve operational goals and objectives.
• Conduct weekly line sanitation as scheduled.
• Supply production lines line with all raw materials for production as required.
• Transfer all finished product from the line and put into proper storage area.
• Assist online as needed throughout the shift.

Education/Skills/Experience Required:

• Previous Forklift or Heavy Equipment experience an asset

• Ability to pay attention to detail.
• Demonstrate spirit of team work and collaboration with the flexibility to adapt to various tasks.
• Complete tasks as assigned.

Pay Rate: $23.21/hr to start
