Job description
Purchasing Coordinator

Location: Montreal, Canada

Are you eager to grow your career in production coordination, manufacturing logistics, and supply chain planning within the fast-growing CPG industry?

We’re looking for a Production Coordinator who will ensure that all production runs across our manufacturing partners are planned, executed, and recorded smoothly.

This role is the heartbeat of our production flow — ensuring that builds are issued, tracked, documented, and posted with accuracy and in a timely manner.

If you enjoy coordinating multiple stakeholders, organizing production schedules, and ensuring everything stays on time and in-full, this is a high-impact opportunity to build expertise in production planning and operations management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Production Coordination & Scheduling: Review open production orders daily and manage timelines with co-packers and production sites. Issue and coordinate weekly production runs across all facilities. Communicate updates to stakeholders. Support production readiness by confirming material availability.
  • Inventory Posting, Traceability & Documentation: Post build assemblies in our system daily for all production sites. Maintain production documentation in Google Drive and ensure complete traceability records. Conduct weekly inventory analysis to identify items requiring production.
  • Logistics & Stock Movements: Coordinate transfers between facilities and post movements in our system. Book freight and coordinate shipments to third-party warehouses. Prepare commercial invoices and track transfer and freight costs. Ensure smooth movement of finished goods into the fulfillment network.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration & Reporting: Provide weekly in-stock updates for eCommerce. Participate in weekly meetings and site-specific production meetings. Work closely with warehouse, logistics, purchasing, and supply chain teams. Respond promptly through email, Slack, and Asana.
What Makes You a Great Fit

You are a natural coordinator and love seeing plans come to life.

You thrive in production-driven environments and stay calm under pressure.

You enjoy working with systems, numbers, and structured workflows.

You are a proactive problem-solver who keeps production flowing.

You are detail-oriented and committed to documentation accuracy.

Qualifications

1–3 years of experience in production coordination, supply chain, logistics, or manufacturing scheduling (CPG is a plus).

Strong proficiency with QuickBooks, Google Sheets, and Asana (or similar systems).

Excellent communication and organizational skills.
