Summary

Coordinate and expedite the work flow and material to production, for work centers of high criticality level. Receives specific assignments with periodic supervision.

Responsibilities
  • Release production orders as per schedule.
  • Prioritize kits and update the status for production meetings.
  • Track & Expedite Readiness and shortages with program and operation teams (material, equipment and documentation) and rationalize timing of launch to production.
  • Internally expedite shortages to ensure the AI&T plan is respected.
  • Follow-up on activities in different work centers and provide priorities.
  • Ensure transactions are organized and reflect activities.
  • Implement changes as per ECN, NCR, etc.
  • Follow-up of NCR, MRB on material and assemblies
  • Ensure completion of production order in ERP.
  • Suggest improvement opportunities for material flow.
  • Provide functional guidance to less experienced personnel.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiative and the implementation of production control methods and systems.
Minimum qualifications
  • In-depth knowledge of the Office suite
  • Good understanding of product nomenclature, planning concepts and an ERP system
  • Sense of urgency
  • Problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Commitment and responsibility
  • Good analysis and communication techniques
  • Must be able to interact effectively. Customer orientation (internal and external)
  • Demonstrate excellent organizational skills and ability to adapt to changes.
  • Ability to process detailed documentation and data accurately
  • May be called upon to support different shifts
  • Education: Bachelors in a related field of study and a combination of other relevant experiences/education could be considered.
  • Experience: 4 years of relevant experience in a material or production planning environment
  • Level of language knowledge: Essential knowledge of French and English, oral and written (Contact customers outside Quebec).
Comments/Special Considerations

Successful candidates must obtain and hold security clearance at the reliability status level, and pass security assessment for the Controlled Goods Program (CGP) and ITAR.
