Global Drain Technologies is a leading manufacturer of engineered drainage systems for the food and beverage industry, commercial & industrial facilities, and urban landscape projects.

The Production Assistant helps in various jobs throughout the shop. Duties include cleaning, organizing, maintenance and assisting in all production areas as assigned.

What You’ll Do
  • Ensure health and safety is a priority by following company policies and procedures;
  • Read & interpret work orders;
  • Wash and load parts with baskets and move through passivation process;
  • Perform maintenance including emptying, cleaning, and filling acid tanks safely and efficiently;
  • Operate metal cleaning equipment such as deburrers and shotblasters to remove excess welds, rust, scale and other material from surfaces of metal parts, castings and other metal products;
  • Assemble and prepare shipments according to work order requirements;
  • Assist in loading and unloading of delivery trucks;
  • Inspect, verify and organize incoming materials;
  • Assist in cycle counts for inventory;
  • Perform quality checks to ensure that established quality standards are being maintained;
  • Process production orders within our ERP system;
  • Maintain a clean work area;
  • Other job-related duties as assigned by the supervisor.

  • Ability to work independently and in a team setting;
  • Must be able to frequently move, push, pull, lift or carry heavy objects up to 50 lbs, must be in good physical condition.

Hours of Work: Full Time, Monday to Friday, Day time hours.

Hourly Wage: Starting at $16/hour depending on qualifications and experience.
