Job summary

PolicyAdvisor Brokerage (PAB) Inc. is a fast-growing insurtech startup in Canada, building digital insurance experiences for Canadians. We seek a product-focused professional who collaborates across business, operations, design, and engineering to shape end-to-end digital experiences.

You will drive product roadmaps, define success metrics, and ensure timely delivery while balancing cost, risk, and feasibility. Experience in finance/insurance domains is valued.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in product, business, operations in Banking/Insurance/Fintech.
• Finance/Business/Engineering degree preferred.
• Prior product management or product execution experience preferred.
• Experience with digital financial products and customer journeys is an asset.
• Life & Health insurance experience is an asset.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Comfortable working in ambiguity and fast-paced startup environments.
• Experience with Agile methodologies, product metrics, wireframes, flowcharts, CRM systems, and product documentation tools.
• Strong understanding of digital product lifecycle management and execution.

Responsibilities

• Conceive, design, and develop innovative digital customer experiences.
• Define, manage, and execute product roadmaps aligned with business goals.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to guide products from conception to launch by connecting business and technical teams.
• Define product strategy, success metrics, and communicate updates to key stakeholders.
• Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and monitor the insurance and financial services ecosystem.
• Write user stories, job stories, PRDs, user journeys, personas, and product requirements documentation.
• Work with engineering, design, marketing, and business teams to deliver scalable product solutions.
• Drive product execution balancing business impact, customer experience, tech feasibility, risk, timelines, quality, cost.
• Support product launch planning and ensure timely delivery with stakeholders.
• Contribute to buy/build/partner evaluations for product and platform capabilities.
• Partner with engineering to brainstorm, prioritize, and deliver product enhancements.
• Act as a bridge between business, operations, and technology teams for successful delivery.

Requirements

• 3+years of experience in product, business, operations, orrelated roles within Banking, Insurance, Fintech, Lending,Wealth Management, or Financial Services environments
  
• Finance,Business, Engineering, or related educational background preferred
  
• Priorproduct management or product execution experience preferred
  
• Experienceworking on digital financial products and customer journeysis an asset
  
• Life& Health insurance experience is an asset
