Job summary

Leap Tools, a remote-first tech company, seeks a product manager to lead a greenfield consumer app for iOS and Android.

You will define the product, translate user needs into specs, and work with engineers to ship a fast, polished mobile experience.

Qualifications

• Product management experience shipping consumer-facing apps with strong UX.
• Strong UI/UX instincts and attention to detail.
• Technical background via CS/Engineering degree or equivalent experience.
• Comfortable with data and experimentation.
• Native iOS or Android app experience is a plus but not required.

About you

You're a product manager who loves building for consumers, and you've shipped products that real people choose to use. You love the satisfaction that comes from 0-to-1 product development, turning an idea or insight into something tangible. You think deeply about UI/UX and have strong opinions on what makes a mobile experience feel fast, intuitive, and polished. You sweat the details, ask questions, listen closely, then use data to prove (or disprove) your assertions.

Our broader stack includes TypeScript, React, Next.js, Python, Django, PostgreSQL, AWS, and computer vision and generative AI systems.

What You'll Do

Requirements

• Product management experience shipping consumer-facing products where UX was central to success.
• Strong UI/UX instincts and exceptional attention to detail.
• Technical background, demonstrated through a degree in computer science or engineering, or through relevant work experience.
• Comfortable with data and experimentation.
• Native iOS or Android app experience is a strong plus, but not required.

About our hiring process

Step 1: We arrange a video call with you to assess your abilities, followed by an attention to detail activity.

Steps 2 and 3: Complete a take-home assignment, followed by two interviews with our leadership.

Expected cash compensation range, Ontario based: $90,000 - $140,000 + other benefits.
