Job summary

Asana is seeking a Software Engineer for its Vancouver-based Product team. You will design data models, implement features, and improve product experiences in a high-velocity environment.

You’ll work with UI designers and infrastructure teams to delight users through thoughtful interactions and robust deployment. The role is based in Vancouver with a hybrid schedule: in-office Monday/Tuesday/Thursday, optional WFH on Wednesday, and conditional Friday arrangements.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a large, well-maintained codebase.
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional partners (e.g., Product Management, Design).
• Strong judgment balancing velocity with high-quality, maintainable code.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to building a complex SaaS application that leads its market segment.
• Work with UI designers and infrastructure teams to deliver features end-to-end.
• Partner with legal to implement data ownership rules in technical solutions.
• Drive large, impactful projects deployed across large organizations.
