Your job

  • Analyze and understand current and emerging trading technologies in the sector, both within and outside the organization
  • Act as an expert in the application and its functionalities
  • Review, test and deploy market data flows and order entry systems, provide day‑to‑day support for electronic trading platforms and all their technical components
  • Actively participate in engineering design discussions and produce the necessary functional and design deliverables
  • Meet business needs by breaking down requests, estimating the effort required and ensuring continuous delivery based on agile principles
  • Continuously improve technological performance by optimizing processes and identifying effective solutions, monitor technology, propose innovative ideas and participate in their evaluation and implementation
  • Take charge of post‑market activities, such as managing drop copies and monitoring related operations
  • Rigorously document support, maintenance and referral activities using the tools provided, collaborating closely with internal partners and external suppliers.

Prerequisites
  • A university degree in computer science, software engineering, finance or a related field with several years of experience
  • Experience in software development, telecom or server administration (an asset)

  • Proficient in the Linux, Wintel, AWS environments and Python language (an important asset)
  • Knowledge of FIX, MQ, JSON, XML and SFTP (an asset)
  • Strong ability to manage priorities in a dynamic and pressured environment.
