Husky Technologies is hiring a Product Development Engineer in Bolton, Ontario. You will lead the technical development of packaging products, guiding design from concept through launch in a fast‑paced, cross‑functional environment.

The role requires 10+ years of design experience, expertise in injection molding tooling and CAD (Unigraphics). You will collaborate with Business Development, Analysis, Electrical, Software and Manufacturing to deliver robust, compliant products.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years design experience in a relevant industry.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Specialized knowledge of products, tooling, standards, processes and technology.
• Experience with injection molding tooling and plastics processing.
• CAD modeling using Unigraphics; strong design verification and documentation.
• Ability to lead, mentor and work autonomously within a cross‑functional team.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical development of packaging products from concept to launch.
• Perform system‑level design with limited guidance and ensure design reviews are completed.
• Develop design documents, validation plans and test strategies.
• Collaborate with Business Development, Analysis, Electrical, Software and Manufacturing teams.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and product releases.
