Job summary

Duoject Medical Systems, Bromont, QC, is seeking a Product Development Engineer to join a multidisciplinary team focused on reconstitution and injection device development. You will drive concept generation through design, prototyping, testing, and production transfer, collaborating with internal teams and external partners.

Responsibilities include hands-on CAD design, performance testing, data analysis, and documentation to meet regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in product development or mechanical design.
• Experience in medical devices or regulated environments is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop new medical devices from ideation to production transfer.
• Create iterative CAD designs focusing on functionality, robustness, and manufacturability.
• Build prototypes using in‑house capabilities (3D printing, CNC machining).
• Plan and conduct product performance testing (force, torque, dose accuracy).
• Develop test methods and analyze results to support design decisions.
• Prepare technical documentation and ensure traceability to requirements.
