Skjodt-Barrett in Brampton, Ontario is seeking a Product Developer to create new products meeting sales, financial, regulatory, quality, engineering, and customer expectations. The role is on-site at our Brampton head office, five days a week.
You will develop and test formulations through bench development, testing, and line trials, ensuring high-quality, market-ready products for major North American brands and customers.

Reporting to the Product Change Manager of Product Development, we are hiring a Product Developer to join the team in Brampton, Ontario. You will be responsible for developing new products that meet sales, financial, regulatory, quality, engineering, operational, and customer expectations.
This is an existing opportunity working five days per week onsite at our Brampton head office.
Industry expertise. You want to bring and apply your insights and best practices and be confident knowing you are making an impact. In addition, you will have the opportunity to learn our standards and expand your skills working with various product types and technologies, including continuous lines, hot and cold lines, toppings, and fillings. You will gain exposure to some of North America's biggest food and consumer brands.
Impact and influence. You will lead and experiment with development projects while training on safety standards, price guardrails, lead times, minimum order quantities, and ingredient restrictions. Additionally, you will gain exposure to some of North America's largest food and consumer brands and experience the excitement of seeing your creations on grocery store shelves.

The expected base pay range for this role is $60,000-$70,000.
Final compensation will be determined based on the successful candidate’s experience, qualifications, and internal equity.
This role is also eligible for bonus and benefits in accordance with company policy.
