Our Design Team’s Vision: Our Designers have the opportunity to help people realize that preventive dentistry is essential for overall health, positively affecting health now and in the future. The dental industry presents unique design challenges, and our dedicated Design team is determined to solve them.

How will you help us get there: As a Product Designer at Opencare, you’ll work closely with our Lead Designer and broader team to design targeted paths that help our users find success in our product and increase the number of people who love their dentist. Whether it’s designing landing pages or developing rapid experiments, you’ll be focused on engaging our users in ways that are meaningful to them and their unique needs.

Responsibilities
  • Partner cross-functionally to iterate on product opportunities and define product vision and strategy, turning them into delightful experiences for our users
  • Pushing the boundaries of your pods UI/UX execution and rapidly prototyping solutions that are simple, elegant, and user friendly, and iterating based on those results and user feedback
  • Leading design critiques, gathering & providing constructive feedback, and making influential design decisions that shape our product
  • Ensure all design work is well-documented and accessible for future reference
  • Communicating across the entire business to gather feedback while helping other teams to improve their design thinking skills
Skills and attributes we are looking for in a successful candidate:
  • 3-5 years in a Graphic or Product Design role
  • Ability to leverage specific insights to drive your design decisions and is passionate about partnering with other teams to create rapid experiments and designs
  • Strong knowledge of User Interface and User Interaction design
  • Proficiency with current design tools (we use Figma, Adobe, InVision, and Abstract)
  • An exceptional ability to articulate your design process and decisions and present cohesive design approaches to a non-design audience
  • You are someone who is able to efficiently run with multiple projects relatively autonomously and ensures you are delivering against business needs

  • The ability to understand that not everything needs to be “pixel-perfect” if it achieves its goal
