Job summary

Wal-Mart Canada Corp is seeking a Produce Stocker in Ontario to maintain a clean, organized produce area and support sales of fresh products. You will deliver customer service in a fast-paced retail setting, rotate stock, ensure accurate pricing, and follow food safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Keeps the produce department clean, organized, and neatly zoned so it is ready for customers at all times.
• Rotates products regularly and removes expired items to ensure freshness and quality.
• Makes sure all produce is correctly priced and signed, following proper procedures for ordering, clearance, markups and markdowns, labels, and signage.
• Follows food safety, sanitation, and cold chain procedures, including temperature checks, thermometer use, proper food handling, and compliance with sell by and expiration dates.
• Stocks and downstocks merchandise as needed, applies product protection when required, and sets modulars, including flex modulars and shelf caps, to keep the department fully stocked.
• Follows all Health and Safety policies to help maintain a safe and clean work environment.
