Job summary

Sobeys is hiring a Produce Clerk to keep the produce department well stocked, assist customers, and support in-store merchandising. The role includes training provided upon hire and requires strong customer service, adaptability, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Evening and weekend availability is encouraged, with early start times around 4am. This on-site position offers opportunities to learn across replenishment and inventory tasks within Sobeys stores.

Responsibilities

• Upholds and complies with company procedures, standards and policies in all situations
• Greets customers in a polite and friendly manner
• Demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with Sobeys programs
• Stocking produce and related product to shelves such as (Frozen, perishable and non-perishables)
• Maintaining and building merchandise displays in compliance with Sobeys programs
• Rotation of product
• Loading and unloading of product for the sales floor
• Backroom and inventory management
• Any other duties as assigned by the Store Manager
