Metro in North Bay, Ontario is hiring a Produce Clerk (Cut Fruit) on a part-time basis. You’ll prepare produce for display, stock shelves, and assist customers in a fast, friendly, and sanitary environment.

This unionized role offers starting wages of $16.60–$16.80 per hour, with the possibility of higher pay based on knowledge, skills and experience. Flexible shifts, including nights and weekends, are required.

This position is part of a unionized bargaining unit. The hourly wage for this position starts at $16.60 - $16.80 and is established in accordance with the collective agreement. Depending on a candidate’s relevant knowledge, skills, education, and prior experience, a higher hourly wage may be offered. Any hourly wage offered for this role, whether starting or higher, will fall within the wage scale established for this position in accordance with the collective agreement.

Our Produce team is fundamental to Metro’s overall success with a focus on always fresh, in stock, and up to standards. The Produce Clerk is responsible for the preparation of produce products for retail display and sale to customers in a safe and sanitary manner. They are also involved in servicing Metro’s customers in a courteous, friendly and efficient manner!
