Job summary

Vantage Data Centers in Montreal, QC seeks a detail-oriented Purchasing Operations Specialist to support PO lifecycle and vendor management within Accounting. You will collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to optimize purchasing workflows, ensure policy compliance, and deliver timely purchasing operations in a fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate will generate reports, monitor PO status, and escalate issues to maintain accuracy and compliance with company policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain or equivalent field, or equivalent work experience.
• 2–5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing operations, or accounting support.
• Proficiency with procure-to-pay processes and basic purchasing workflows.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the PO lifecycle, including initiation, tracking, and compliance.
• Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to facilitate purchasing workflows.
• Ensure compliance with purchasing policies and internal controls; escalate issues as needed.
• Generate and maintain reports on purchasing activities and PO status.
• Assist in process improvement initiatives and identify inefficiencies.
