A leading power generation company based in Bowmanville is seeking a Design Engineer-Procurement to support project coordination and stakeholder collaboration. The candidate will evaluate parts for purchase, perform technical reviews, and liaise with supply chains and vendors. A Bachelor's degree in Engineering and relevant experience are required, preferably in procurement engineering. This role offers a hybrid work model and competitive salary ranging from $1,704.68 to $2,924.93 per week.

Qualifications

• 2-6 years of relevant engineering experience.
• Comfortable leading meetings and giving presentations.
• Must be fully licensed engineer in Ontario or eligible for licensing.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate legacy parts for purchase at current standards.
• Perform pre-purchase technical review of items.
• Liaise between Design Engineering, Supply Chain and Vendors.
• Contribute to OPG work management process.
