A construction firm is seeking a Procurement Coordinator for their project in Toronto. This position involves supporting the project team in procurement activities, optimizing delivery of supplies, and liaising with suppliers. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and a minimum of 5 years of experience in purchasing. This role offers a full-time position with opportunities for mobility across projects in Ontario.
This is a full-time position for Construction Demathieu & Bard's joint venture (referred to as Leaside Valley Builders) with EBC on the Don Valley Crossings project in East York. The expected project duration is four years (estimated completion date: September 2028). However as this position is permanent, the procurement coordinator will then be assigned to another project(s) within Ontario. Therefore, an openness to mobility is required.
Under the supervision of the Commercial Manager, the Procurement Coordinator will provide comprehensive administrative support to all members of the project team, playing a crucial role in the procurement process and project success.
The work must be performed in person (hybrid) at various project sites located within the East York region of Toronto for the completion of two multi-span bridges, slope stabilization, underpass rehabilitation and all other associated works (temporary roads, bridges, traffic control, etc.). You may also need to periodically visit CDB's head office in Peterborough for events and training. Work hours are between 40-50 hrs/week, 7:00am-5:30pm, Monday to Friday.
