Job description

The Procurement Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating tactical and strategic procurement requirements. Responsibilities will include the coordination of daily procurement activities and sourcing projects to support manufacturing operations and strategic sourcing initiatives.

Salary: The compensation for this role will be commensurate based on education and/or experience.

Relocation assistance may be available for the successful candidate.

RESPONSIBILITIES

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Coordinates daily procurement activities and ensures that all goods are purchased in a timely, efficient, and cost-effective manner.
  • Conducts frequent materials requirements planning to ensure that delivery schedules align with manufacturing requirements.
  • Coordinates sourcing projects for prototype builds, including all required planning, sourcing, and data tracking activities.
  • Consults with Manufacturing and Engineering to develop and maintain technical specifications and requirements.
  • Updates and maintains bill of materials for different product lines and cuts in engineering change orders as they are released, in close collaboration with engineering and the materials team.
QUALIFICATIONS

What We Are Looking For:

  • Education degree or training in supply chain management, procurement, or business administration is preferred, or a combination of education and/or work experience
  • Minimum of 5 years work experience in supply chain management, procurement, business administration, or data analytics required.
  • Experience with ERP systems (especially Oracle & Sage) is considered a plus.
  • Exceptional organizational and self-management skills with the ability to stay focused and keep on top of priority tasks in a fast-paced environment.
