Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Alberta is seeking a part-time Retail Team Member to support our stores in the Manning/Edmonton area. You will sort donations, assist customers, and help keep shelves organized while delivering world-class service.

We offer a flexible schedule with 15–24.5 hours per week and a wage of $16.20 per hour. Candidates must be at least 15 years old and eligible to work in Canada. Join a compassionate team making a positive impact in our community.

Responsibilities

• Sorts and grades donations to determine what is sellable and places items on shelves.
• Assists customers at registers with wrapping or bagging merchandise.
• Maintains cleanliness and organization of store displays and stock areas.
• Provides world-class customer service to all Goodwill customers.
• Supports team with daily store operations.

What you’ll be doing:

• Sorts and grades donations to determine what is sellable.
• Identifies high-end and/or designer quality donations for special pricing.
• Tracks production targets and completes production sheets as per SOPs.
• Transports items to and from the sales floor and place on shelves, bins or racks.
• Tidy shelves, racks, bins or displays and remove stock that is being rotated as needed.
• Assists Retail team members at cash registers with wrapping or bagging merchandise for customers.
• Providing world class customer service to all Goodwill customers.

What you bring to the table:

• A High School Diploma or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum age of 15 or older.
• Must be eligible to work in Canada.
• The ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
• The ability to work a flexible work schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• The ability to perform physical work on a continual basis.
• Knowledge of designer labels, collectibles and antiques. (A strong asset but not a deal-breaker)
• You deliver amazing customer service by going above and beyond for all Goodwill customers.
• You demonstrate teamwork and engage fellow Team Members in contributing to Goodwill’s mission & core purpose.
• You have an open and honest attitude while making moral decisions.
