Job summary

A leading energy company in Lloydminster seeks a Process Engineer responsible for monitoring operational targets and engaging in reliability and safety initiatives. Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and at least 4 years of relevant experience in Oil & Gas. Knowledge of HYSYS or PetroSIM software is beneficial. The role includes conducting analyses and providing troubleshooting support to maintain operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, and/or Refining.
• Legally authorized to work in Canada.
• A member in good standing or eligible for registration with APEGA / APEGS.

Responsibilities

• Monitor day‑to‑day operating targets of the assigned Upgrader Complex units.
• Lead multidisciplinary plant‑wide and corporate initiatives related to safety and reliability.
• Conduct Root Cause Analysis and incident investigations.

Skills

Experience in Oil & Gas

HYSYS or PetroSIM simulation software

Knowledge of environmental regulations

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Chemical, Process, or Petroleum Engineering
