Job summary

A leading recruitment agency is seeking a Process Engineer in Alberta. This role involves troubleshooting production processes, ensuring safety operations, and training staff. A degree in Mechanical or Chemical Process is required, along with 1 to 2 years of experience in the Process Manufacturing Industry. Competitive salary range between $3200 to $4800 with additional benefits.

Working Location : Woodlands (Company Transport Provided)

Basic: $3200 to $4800 + AWS + VB

Process Manufacturing Plant

TRAINING PROVIDED – for candidate with lesser experience

Job Responsibilities
  • Troubleshooting of production process and initiate process improvement activities.
  • Work closely with Plant Manager to ensure smooth implementation of project(s) assigned.
  • Co-ordinate with Plant Manager in the maintenance of respective plant equipment.
  • Ensure smooth and safe operation in Plant operations.
  • Training of operational staff.
  • Investigate, identify and implement corrective actions to recurrent deviations from process norm.
  • Initiate and recommend improvement to plant process.
  • Plan and ensure proper implementation of plant maintenance activities.
  • Liaise with external vendors and contractors where necessary.
  • Assist the Plant Manager to re-verify the integrity after the maintenance of equipment.
  • Perform regular plant safety inspection.
  • Execute Deputy Factory Manager's instruction in the implementation of a special project.
  • Issue and approve the permit to work systems.
  • Conduct training to operational staff as per the department's training program.
  • Ensure that all risk assessments in the workplace are established, implemented, monitored, communicated and documented according to WSH (Risk Management) requirements.
  • Any other duties assigned by Deputy Factory Manager.
Requirements
  • Degree in Mechanical / Chemical Process or equivalent
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in Process Manufacturing Industry
  • Training will be provided for candidate with lesser experience
