A leading oil and gas company located in Metro Vancouver is seeking a skilled professional to develop and maintain control applications in a refinery. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering and possess knowledge of multi-variable control technologies. Key responsibilities include providing process control support, troubleshooting DMC controllers, and improving operational reliability. This role offers a competitive salary between $100,000 - $150,000 and performance-based incentives.

$100,000 - $150,000/annum
The primary focus of this position is to develop and maintain advanced control applications using DMC3 software on refinery units to improve reliability and profitability. Work will also include: day to day technical, operating, troubleshooting and optimization advice on DMC and regulatory control applications; implementation of various control projects as required by operational or maintenance; alarm management (include facilitate/participate in Alarm Objective Analysis); involvement in DCS reliability; provide process control related operator training.
