St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Schools invites applications for a part-time Educational Assistant position at Sacred Heart School in Wetaskiwin, Alberta, beginning immediately. Sacred Heart School is seeking a caring, energetic, and dependable part-time Educational Assistant to support students in our Monday/Wednesday Kindergarten program. Working alongside the Kindergarten teacher, the EA will help create an engaging environment where our youngest learners can develop confidence, independence, and a love of learning. The successful candidate will support students with classroom routines, transitions, early learning activities, social development, self-regulation, and individual learning needs. Preferred candidates will have experience working with students with exceptional abilities and/or medical needs. Experience in a school setting would be considered an asset.

Employment is conditional upon the submission of a recent (within six months) Criminal Record Check, including the Vulnerable Sector Check, as well as a recent (within 6 months)Alberta Children's Intervention Record Check. Please note: Catholicity is not a requirement it is considered an asset.
