Job summary

CIBC invites driven students and recent graduates to join a 12-month Private Wealth Management rotation program in Montreal. You will gain exposure to Private Banking, Wood Gundy, Wealth Management Strategies and Solutions, and the head office while learning to offer tailored client solutions.

Selected candidates will attend virtual information sessions, hear from Managing Directors, and build a professional network within CIBC Wealth Management. Fluency in French and English is required.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in an undergraduate program or recent graduate (2026–2027).
• Final year of post-secondary education or a recent graduate in Business/Finance/Accounting.
• Graduation Spring 2027 expected.

• Provide dedicated and timely expertise to help clients achieve their goals
• Gain experience in rotational Private Banking positions
• Develop skills, knowledge, and a professional network within CIBC Wealth Management
• Attend virtually via Microsoft Teams if selected

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program or a recent graduate (2026–2027)
• Must be in the final year of post-secondary education or a recent graduate pursuing a diploma/degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related fields
• Expected graduation date of Spring 2027
• Interest/passion for financial planning and advice, investments, building client relationships, and portfolio management
• Fluent in French and English
• Submit only a one-page resume
• Must be legally eligible to work at the specified location
• Must have a valid work or study permit where applicable
• May be required to complete an attribute-based assessment and other skills tests, including simulation, coding, or French proficiency
• Customer Experience (CX) and Investments skills
