Job summary

SS-Private Households in Dollard-des-Ormeaux, QC is hiring a Child caregiver – private home for a term/contract/full-time role. The position requires reliability and a patient, caring approach to childcare.

The successful candidate will perform infant care, light housekeeping, meal prep, and child transportation while ensuring a safe home environment. Morning, day, and evening shifts are possible, with flexible hours and LMIA approval.

Qualifications

• The candidate should be fluent in the English language.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to 2 years of experience in a related industry.

Responsibilities

• The candidate must travel with the family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties.
• The candidate must wash, iron, and press clothing and household linens.
• The candidate must bathe, dress, and feed infants and children.
• The candidate must discipline children using the methods specified by the parents.
• The candidate will be responsible for instructing children in personal hygiene and social development.
• The candidate must maintain records of daily activities and health information for the children.
• The candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and healthy environment in the home.
• The candidate will be responsible for organizing activities for children, such as games and outings.
• The candidate must prepare and serve healthy meals.
• The candidate must prepare infants and children for rest periods.
• The candidate will be responsible for supervising and caring for children.
• The candidate must take children to and from school and to appointments.
