Grandview Kids in Ajax, Ontario is seeking a Privacy and Health Information Coordinator (Contract Full-Time) to support the CIS Manager, maintain health records privacy, and ensure confidentiality across programs for children and youth served by the organization.

The role requires 3+ years privacy experience in health records, CHIMA certification, and CIPP/C (CIPM preferred). You will develop privacy policies, monitor consent, respond to inquiries, and contribute to staff training.

Qualifications

• 3+ years privacy experience in health records
• CHIMA Certification required
• CIPP/C certification required, CIPM is an asset

Responsabilités

• Draft and revise privacy policies and procedures
• Maintain health records and privacy compliance with legislation
• Audit privacy processes and logs, using Alayacare
• Report privacy breaches per policy and law
• Manage consent processes and forms
• Educate staff on privacy policies and requirements
• Respond to inquiries from families, physicians, and agencies
• Prepare and distribute privacy reports
• Support education seminars for families and clients
