Job summary

StackAdapt is seeking a Privacy Counsel to support and develop its global privacy program. This remote-first role reports to the Global Privacy Counsel, focusing on maintaining compliance with international privacy laws, mitigating risk, and fostering trust with customers in a data-driven advertising environment.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of privacy or legal ops experience, active U.S. state bar status, and hands-on practice with CCPA, COPPA, PIPEDA, and HIPAA.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of privacy or legal operations experience in-house or in a privacy group.
• Active status in at least one US state bar.
• Experience with data protection frameworks (CCPA, COPPA, PIPEDA, HIPAA).
• Excellent writing and drafting skills.
• IAPP Privacy certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support and develop StackAdapt's global privacy program.
• Negotiate and draft Data Processing Agreements (DPAs).
