Job summary

Randstad Canada is seeking a printing operator in Toronto to operate Epson industrial printers, handle fabric sublimation, and prepare files for high‑quality prints. You will stage nested artwork, align designs, and select PMS colors to ensure accurate color output.

The role requires 2 years of Illustrator/CorelDRAW experience, English fluency, and the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment while meeting tight deadlines. Immediate start and weekly pay are highlighted benefits.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Print using Epson industrial printers, fabric sublimation, and direct-to-garment printers.
• Prepare nested artwork files and align files such as letters and numbers.
• Select correct PMS colors according to profiles and ready files for printing.
• Prepare, align, and configure machinery, ink, rollers, and paper.
• Inspect proof sheets to evaluate printing quality.
• Adjust press machinery to meet quality standards and specifications.
• QC: detect and report defective materials or issues to supervisor.
• Additional training will be provided as needed.

Responsibilities

• You will be printing using exclusively Epson industrial printers, fabric sublimation, and direct to garment printers.
• You will be preparing nested artwork files and aligning files such as letters & numbers.
• You will be selecting correct PMS colors according to profiles, and getting these files ready for printing.
• You will prepare, align, and configure machinery, ink, rollers, and paper.
• You will inspect proof sheets to evaluate the quality of printing.
• You will adjust press machinery to meet quality standards and specifications.
• QC is key: You will detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to a supervisor.
• Additional training will be provided as needed.

Qualifications

• You must have 2 years of experience with Adobe Illustrator / CorelDRAW
• You must be fluent in English reading and writing.
• You’re able to work in a fast paced environment.
• You’re able to work in a team environment.
• Sports background / knowledge preferred.
• Time Management: Completing orders within the stipulated time frame to ensure timely delivery to clients.
