Position Summary

The Print Coordinator is responsible for the coordination and delivery of the print runs of JUMP Math teacher and student resources through the entire printing process. Reporting to the Publisher, they act as a key liaison between internal teams and external vendors to optimize workflows and maintain brand consistency.

The Print Coordinator supports the publishing process by coordinating print scheduling, quotations, orders, file transmittals, proof approvals, deliveries, final quality control, and payment. This role ensures high‑quality, on‑time, and on‑budget print production.

This is a full‑time role (37.5 hours / week) on a 1‑year contract with benefits.

Location of Work: This role must be located in the Greater Toronto area and is intended to be mainly remote but you may be required to attend in-person meetings at the JUMP Math offices or other locations in the GTA.

Salary Range: $50‑$55k based on experience.

Key Accountabilities
  • Work closely with the Publisher and Director, Publications to ensure timely, accurate, and on‑budget project completion
  • Monitor inventory and coordinate reprints as needed
  • Liaise with internal teams to gather project specs, timelines, and files
  • Source and manage relationships with print vendors and suppliers
  • Estimate costs of materials and new design projects
  • Schedule production with suppliers aligned to internal timelines
  • Solicit and evaluate print quotes to ensure cost‑effectiveness and quality
  • Prepare and assist with purchase orders
  • Transmit print files and corrections to suppliers
  • Coordinate review of proofs, final products, and invoices for accuracy and brand consistency
  • Track deliveries, coordinate quality reviews, and resolve production issues
  • Maintain project documentation, budgets, and production timelines
  • Provide regular updates on print project costs, status, and issues
  • Ensure compliance with environmental, safety, and quality standards
Skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and Adobe Pro
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator) is a plus
  • Experience with scheduling, budgeting and cost tracking
