Job summary

Zendesk, Inc. is seeking a Principal Technical Program Manager to lead complex, cross-functional technical programs within Product Development. You will drive end-to-end delivery, align with senior leaders, and mentor a distributed TPM team across EMEA, APAC and AMER.

You will own governance, risk mitigation, and execution discipline while partnering with engineering to translate strategy into executable roadmaps. This role offers a hybrid, global work model with a focus on high-impact outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience leading software engineering programs and delivering large-scale releases.
• Ability to translate goals and strategy into actionable execution plans.
• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and Kanban in agile environments.
• Experience coordinating multiple global programs across locations.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple concurrent technical programs across Product Development and partner functions, delivering end-to-end results.
• Drive OKR delivery with responsible owners and reporters, creating a cohesive narrative.
• Identify cross-functional dependencies early and design plans with end-to-end impact.
• Own program governance, escalation paths, and senior leadership updates.
• Manage scope, risks, and change control to minimize delivery blockers.
• Facilitate alignment and decision-making across diverse teams and locations.
• Communicate with executive presence and translate inputs into decision-ready updates.
• Mentor TPM/PgM peers on planning, execution standards, and stakeholder management.
