A leading technology company in Canada is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to bridge various teams during product development. The role involves writing requirements, defining responsibilities, and ensuring the adherence to regulatory standards while developing innovative solutions. The is a unique role for an experienced systems engineer. In this exciting role, you will act as a fulcrum between Program Management, Product Management, and discipline engineers (both hardware and software) during the product development phase.
You will be writing requirements, defining test responsibilities for verification and validation, and navigating a team of interdisciplinary engineers through the technical aspects of product development, which includes technology integration, tradeoff analysis, and troubleshooting.
The ideal candidate will have an expertise in Fixed Industrial Scanning and Machine Vision, and will be a crucial part of the product development process from concept to market launch. The emphasis will be on developing, designing, evaluating, and/or modification of the solution to ensure it will be consistent with customer, industry, and regulatory requirements. Your contribution will ensure that the product at the sub-system and system level meets or exceeds performance targets, meets high quality standards, and maintains performance targets under manufacturing process variation at high volume.
This role is 3-days a week on site in our St. Laurent, Montreal office and 2 days remote.
