Job summary

Autodesk is seeking a Principal Engineer to own and deliver complex modules in our Search Infrastructure within Autodesk Platform Services. You will lead the design, development, and operations of scalable, distributed micro-services powering search across Autodesk’s Industry Clouds—Fusion, Forma and Flow.

You will mentor engineers, partner with architects, and help meet SLAs while building resilient systems.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience.
• Strong fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, distributed systems, and data management.
• Thorough knowledge of multi-threading, concurrency, and parallel processing concepts.
• Excellent proficiency in Java or Golang or similar language.
• 10+ years of experience building and running large-scale systems.
• Experience with database systems such as MySQL, DynamoDB, including scalability and consistency characteristics.
• Experience with modern tech stacks, API design, microservices, stream processing, and resilience.
