Job summary

ZoomInfo is seeking anexperienced backend engineer to anchor the Chorus Engineering team in Toronto. You will design, build, and deploy mission-critical backend systems that power our conversation intelligence platform, setting standards and elevating the team’s architecture.

The role emphasizes code quality, scalable performance, and mentoring engineers through technical partnership. You will also build third-party integrations using SDKs with a focus on reliability and maintainability.

Qualifications

• 9+ years of hands-on software development experience using Python.
• Proven experience with distributed systems software design.
• Strong knowledge of RESTful API standards.
• Proven experience in distributed microservices development.
• Experience with cloud-based infrastructure (AWS or GCP).
• Knowledge of CI/CD and release processes.
• Experience with NoSQL (MongoDB / Elasticsearch) and SQL databases.
• Strong personal accountability and informal leadership skills.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

About the Job
