About the Role and How We Work

We build an environment that empowers engineers to own end‑to‑end products. As a Product Engineer, you’ll design and implement features that span the entire stack—research competitors, write specs, produce wireframes, and ship solutions that impact our 10+ million users.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and build automated interview scheduling, solving the “Calendar Tetris” problem for recruiters.
  • Build a generalized declarative filter architecture that lets users create complex filters for any record, which compiles to SQL in our backend.
  • Specc, design, and implement a feature that allows users to complete signing offers entirely within Ashby, integrating feedback from customers and coordinating with cross‑functional teams.
Interview Process
  • Intro call with Hiring Manager (15‑30 min).
  • Technical screen where we pair in our codebase (1 h).
  • Three non‑coding interviews focused on product thinking, technical design, and infrastructure (3.25 h total, may span multiple days).
