About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal DevOps Engineer to join our engineering team and take ownership of our infrastructure strategy, automation pipelines, and system reliability. As a technical leader, you’ll drive DevOps best practices, mentor team members, and collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to deliver scalable, resilient, and high-performing systems.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a strong technical background in modern technologies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Architect, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines across multiple environments
  • Design and evolve AWS cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Deploy and maintain critical applications on cloud-native microservices architecture
  • Familiar with migration and tech stack upgrades in AWS
  • Lead efforts to improve system observability, monitoring, and incident response.
  • Partner with development teams to ensure smooth deployments and high availability.
  • Implement security best practices, including secrets management, vulnerability scanning, and compliance enforcement.
  • Evaluate and introduce new tools and technologies to optimize performance, scalability, and automation.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior DevOps and SRE team members.
  • Define SLAs, SLOs, and KPIs for critical services and ensure reliability goals are met.
Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or related roles.
  • Strong experience AWS cloud platform - IAM, EC2, EKS, VPC, ELB, ALB, Autoscaling, Lambda
  • Experience maintaining and deploying highly available, fault-tolerant systems at scale
  • Experience implementing CI/CD using tools like GitHub Actions
  • Operational (e.g. HA/Backups) and NoSQL experience (e.g. DynamoDB, Redis
  • Proficiency in scripting or programming language in Python
  • Experience with monitoring tools such as Datadog, New Relic
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code – IaC - using Terraform, Pulumi
  • Experience with security practices, compliance standards (SOC2, ISO 27001, etc.).
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
