HOLLAND SCHOOL 1.0 FTE TEACHING PRINCIPAL

Prairie Spirit School Division is accepting applications for the following 1.0 FTE Teaching Principal position (.7 Admin and .3 Teaching) to commence February 2, 2026.

Holland School - Competition # 2025-71.

Holland Elementary School is a K-8 school with an enrollment of 74 students located in Holland, MB. The position is comprised of .7 administration and .3 teaching time with some potential flexibility in the teaching component.

Qualifications for all administration positions
  • A variety of successful teaching experience including a minimum of five years of teaching as well as school based administrative experience.
  • Manitoba School Administrator's Certificate, or equivalent.
  • Masters degree or other evidence of lifelong learning.
  • Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.

In general, the roles of the principal can be divided into four areas of responsibility:

  • The principal as a Visionary
  • The principal as a Leader/Program Facilitator
  • The Principal as a Manager
  • The Principal as a Community Facilitator

The Divisional priorities are literacy, numeracy and student engagement. Data and research are the foundation of planning and decision making in PSSD.
