Shared Health leads the planning and coordinates the integration of patient-centred clinical and preventive health services across Manitoba. The organization also delivers some province-wide health services and supports centralized administrative and business functions for Manitoba health organizations.
Primary Care Paramedics provide care to patients as part of a multi-disciplinary health care team and are dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality health care services. The Primary Care Paramedic is responsible for providing accessible, responsive, and integrated patient care at all times. They collaborate with health care providers, allied emergency service agencies, and other community agencies. This role is responsible for the safe, effective operation and use of vehicles and equipment as per Manitoba Provincial Regulations, Acts, and Shared Health policy. The Primary Care Paramedic will be expected to conduct themselves professionally, ethically, and demonstrate commitment to the mission, vision, values, goals, objectives, and policies of Shared Health.
This position requires a current satisfactory Criminal Records Check (including Vulnerable Sector Search), Child Abuse Registry Check and Adult Abuse Registry Check as conditions of employment. The successful candidate will be responsible for any service charges incurred. A security check is considered current if it was obtained no more than six (6) months prior to the start of employment.
