Sherwood Park Primary Care Network (SPPCN) seeks a Family Practice Nurse - LPN to deliver comprehensive nursing care in a busy family practice setting. You will work with physicians and the care team to develop care plans, provide education, and support patient self-management across diverse clinical conditions.

The role is 0.6 FTE permanent with eligible benefits, RRSP matching, paid vacation, health & wellness spending account, and education funding for ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• LPN designation with current registration in Alberta.
• Current standard BLS Provider certificate.
• Three years related nursing experience; primary care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer injections and dressing changes; perform basic nursing duties.
• Collaborate with physicians and team to enhance primary care delivery.
• Prioritize needs with patient, physician and team members; provide patient education.
• Support patient self-management programs and care plans.
• Conduct assessments and follow-up on management strategies.
• Maintain accurate records per practice policy.
• Assist in clinic evaluation and training of new hires.
