Job summary

Panoramic Properties Inc. is seeking a Preventive Maintenance Technician to perform scheduled inspections and routine maintenance across our residential properties.

You will help keep plumbing, heating, and other building systems in good working order, identify issues early, and reduce costly breakdowns.

Qualifications

  • A valid plumbing licence or G1 Gas Technician licence is required.
  • Must have a valid driver’s licence.
  • Flexibility to work a variable schedule.
  • Prior preventative maintenance or building maintenance experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Perform scheduled preventative maintenance inspections across residential properties.
  • Follow established maintenance schedules for building systems, equipment, fixtures, and common areas.
  • Inspect plumbing, heating, mechanical, and other building systems for wear, leaks, damage, or developing issues.
  • Complete routine maintenance tasks such as filter changes, cleaning, adjustments, minor servicing, and preventative repairs.
  • Troubleshoot maintenance concerns and identify issues requiring repair or specialized service.
  • Monitor the condition and performance of building equipment and report recurring concerns.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, completed maintenance, and identified deficiencies.
  • Assist with routine testing and servicing of building systems and equipment.

Job description

As our Preventive Maintenance (PM) Technician, your main focus is to complete scheduled inspections and preventative maintenance across our residential properties. You will help keep building systems, equipment, and common areas in good working condition by identifying potential issues early, completing routine servicing, and helping reduce unexpected breakdowns and larger repairs.

Responsibilities
  • Performing scheduled preventative maintenance inspections across residential properties
  • Following established maintenance schedules for building systems, equipment, fixtures, and common areas
  • Inspecting plumbing, heating, mechanical, and other building systems for signs of wear, leaks, damage, or developing issues
  • Completing routine maintenance tasks such as filter changes, cleaning, adjustments, minor servicing, and preventative repairs
  • Troubleshooting maintenance concerns and identifying issues that require further repair or specialized service
  • Monitoring the condition and performance of building equipment and reporting recurring or developing concerns
  • Maintaining accurate records of inspections, completed maintenance, and identified deficiencies
  • Assisting with routine testing and servicing of building systems and equipment
  • Ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard
  • Following all applicable health and safety procedures while completing assigned duties
  • Completing other related duties within the scope of the role
Qualifications / Requirements
  • A valid plumbing licence or G1 Gas Technician licence is required
  • Previous experience in preventative maintenance, building maintenance, property maintenance, or a similar role is considered an asset
  • Strong working knowledge of plumbing, heating, mechanical, and general residential building systems
  • Experience troubleshooting and identifying maintenance issues before they develop into larger repairs
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify potential equipment or building system concerns
  • Good organizational and time-management skills with the ability to follow scheduled maintenance programs
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Must be reliable, punctual, and able to manage assigned responsibilities
  • Must have a valid driver's licence
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule, as required
