The Central York Chamber of Commerce (CYC) is seeking a President & CEO to provide strategic, operational, and community leadership. Reporting to the Board of Directors, the CEO will guide the Chamber’s mission, oversee daily operations, and advance long‑term growth initiatives that strengthen the Central York business community.

About the Central York Chamber of Commerce

The CYC represents approximately 700 members and is committed to supporting business growth, leadership development, and economic vitality in a collaborative and inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the implementation of the Chamber’s strategic plan and organizational goals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with members, partners, and community leaders.
  • Oversee financial management, budgeting, and reporting.
  • Develop and deliver programs, events, and initiatives that provide value to members.
  • Represent the Chamber in advocacy efforts and public forums.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive organizational culture and lead a high-performing team.
Qualifications
  • Proven leadership experience in a senior management role, preferably within a chamber, business association, or nonprofit organization.
  • Strong financial and operational management skills.
  • Experience in stakeholder engagement and community or government relations.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, public administration, nonprofit management, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
