Job summary

The Home Depot Canada is seeking an Order Picker to support our online business and customer relationships by accurately selecting and preparing product for pickup or delivery. You will work nights and coordinate with store teams to ensure timely fulfillment.

Responsibilities include picking, labeling, staging, and loading orders, with training for forklift use. Strong communication and basic computer skills are essential, and health and retirement benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Able to work a flexible schedule Monday to Sunday nights (10PM – 6:30AM).
• Computer skills required; able to use desktops and smartphone apps.
• Previous forklift and/or lift truck experience is an asset but not required.

Responsibilities

• Picking, organizing, staging and verify orders for delivery or pick-up.
• Accurately labeling and placing orders into specified holding areas until moved out store and loaded onto the truck.
• Utilize lift truck equipment to prepare customer orders (training provided).
• Use computer terminals and Home Depot portable phones to identify product & location, check inventory, look-up orders and pick orders.
• Stocking merchandise onto shelves and organizing the sales floor.
• Loading orders onto delivery trucks.
