Responsibilities

• Complete prep and dough duties as assigned.
• Ensure incoming products meet Boston Pizza specs and follow daily prep sheets.
• Keep kitchen clean and organized; follow cleaning schedules.
• Care for and maintain kitchen equipment; identify needs for prep.
• Maintain food quality through cleanliness, storage and sanitation.
• Promote teamwork and a positive attitude on shift.
• Operate the dish machine and manage high-volume periods.
• Perform other required tasks and arrive 15 minutes early.

What does a successful Kitchen Helper look like?

1. Be able to complete prep and dough duties.

2. Ensure that all products received via delivery meet Boston Pizza specification. Prepare and follow a daily prep sheet to indicate levels on hand and amounts required.

3. Clean and organize the kitchen at all times. Follow all required checklists and cleaning schedules during and following his/her shift.

4. Assure the proper care and maintenance of all food service equipment; identify equipment needs for food preparation and service.

5. Ensure food quality by maintaining high levels of cleanliness, organization, storage, and sanitation of food products.

6. Maintain a positive attitude that promotes teamwork within the restaurant.

7. Load, run and unload dish machine

8. Be able to perform efficiently during high volume periods, with the ability to multi-task

9. Co-operation, Maintain a positive attitude and promote a teamwork environment are all essential. The kitchen helper will perform other such tasks that may be required from time to time.

10. The employee must follow hygiene policies at all times,

11. The employee must arrive 15 minutes prior to start of shift. Other duties as required.

Pay Range: $18.00 - $22.00 CAD Hourly
