Job summary

Aramark is hiring a General Utility Worker to maintain cleanliness of dishes, equipment, and kitchen environments. This role supports chefs, handles meal service, and upholds food safety standards in a fast-paced setting. Flexibility to work various shifts is required.

The position emphasizes teamwork, customer service, and adherence to safety policies, with duties expanding to custodial tasks and asset security as needed.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates fundamental culinary knowledge to prepare ingredients, follow recipes, and maintain food quality standards.
• Demonstrates an understanding of basic sanitation procedures.
• Must be able to follow basic safety procedures due to exposure to hazardous chemicals.
• Must be available to work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings and weekends when required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and portion ingredients according to recipes and production needs; receive and properly store deliveries.
• Support chefs with meal service, catering events, food preparation, and kitchen operations to ensure timely and high-quality execution.
• Ensure guest satisfaction by maintaining all dishes, pots, pans, silverware, glasses, equipment, and kitchen utensils are cleaned and sanitized
• Maintains dishwashing station, three compartment sink and related areas cleaned
• Ensures equipment is clean and in working condition; reports any issues to management
• Performs other light maintenance and custodial tasks
• Maintains excellent customer service and positive attitude towards guest, customers, clients, co-workers, etc.
• Adheres to Aramark safety policies and procedures including proper food safety and sanitation
• Ensures security of company assets

The pay range for this position is $17.60 - $19.50.
Monday to Friday | 7:30 am to 3:30 pm
