Valard Construction is seeking skilled Powerline Technicians and Foremen to support a Saskatchewan-based distribution project in Lloydminster. You will lead construction, maintenance, and repair of overhead and underground lines with adherence to safety standards.

The role requires journeyperson certification, experience with 14.4kV–25kV systems, and readiness to work on-call. Local residency or relocation is required; a comprehensive benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

• Electrical theory knowledge and powerline construction practices.
• Safety procedures are prioritized on all jobs.
• Ability to locate, splice and test equipment safely.

Responsabilités

• Lead construction of new overhead and underground power line facilities.
• Mentor apprentices and crew members; conduct performance reviews as needed.
• Perform live-line work using rubber glove and hot-stick methods.
• Erect and maintain poles, towers and guy wires; splice and insulate conductors.
• Respond to emergency outages and perform restoration work when required.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
