We have an immediate opportunity for a Power Systems Engineer in the Los Angeles area. This individual will be responsible for ensuring technical issues and problems are resolved. This is a hybrid position which requires in the office two days a week, Wednesday and Thursday.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Ability to lead, supervise and coordinate the workflow and the execution of new technical strategies, equipment, or standards
  • Experience conducting risk assessments and implementing risk mitigation strategies to ensure safety and reliability of project
  • Experience providing engineering and technical expertise and guidance for the identification, analysis and resolution of high impact, complex and or cross‑functional problems in engineering
  • Responsible for ensuring the engineering facility design basis is controlled and the design basis documentation is maintained
  • Responsible for planning and coordinating high‑impact complex projects and conducting engineering and related studies
  • Experience using electrical diagnosis equipment including multimeters and oscilloscopes
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math field a must
  • Basic networking knowledge and skills required
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and wiring diagrams required
  • Experience with control panel layout and component mounting (e.g. DIN rail, terminal blocks, relays required)
  • Skills in wire stripping, crimping, and routing neatly with enclosures required
  • Experience using hand and power tools required
  • Experience in instrumentation and data logging equipment
  • Experience in automation software (LabView, Ovation) required
  • Experience with energy storage, generators, microgrids a plus
  • PE a plus not required

Upon a conditional job offer, a drug test and background check will be required.

Compensation based on experience.
